Venice is an unfathomable experience. This glorious city , built on more than 100 islands, traversed by 200 canals, and with over 400 bridges has some of the most exquisite hotels in the world. There could be no better setting, on the banks of the River Arno, for the birthplace of the Renaissance than Florence, the city of Michelangelo, Da Vinci and Dante. To avoid lengthly queues we can guarantee timed entrance into the Uffizi to avoid lengthy queues. Our favourite place to stay is Villa San Michele, be sure to book into their cookery school. Based in the centre of Florence the Helvetia e Bristol and Santa Maria Novella are fabulous.
